Been on the fence about checking out Suda51's downloadable side-scroller "Black Knight Sword?" Starting tomorrow through April 23, Microsoft is discounting this theatrical, oddball hack and slash to 400 MS Points.

Released back in December, our own Jason Cipriano got some hands-on time with it and thought it was decent enough (if not extraordinary) in his review:

While "Black Knight Sword" might have one of gaming’s most prolific visionaries at its helm, it doesn't really bring anything new to the table. The gameplay is solid, but that's because it's a tried and true formula of sidscrolling and slashing. The look and feel of the game are what really makes it stand out, and while that might be enough for some people, others may find the seemingly random art distracting and incoherent.

Suda51 and his team at Grasshopper are currently working on the stylish assassin action game "Killer is Dead."
